What can I say?

To say I went on a hiatus is bit of an understatement. It was more like I just forgot about this thing. And to be honest, I kind of did. Now granted, I went off to college (Marshall University) about the time of my last post and was pretty occupied with my duties both in class and at WMUL radio. But strangely enough, I have checked on this site's activity, and even with the lack of updates, I still get roughly the same amount of viewers I did when I did update. So that also kind of messed up my interest.

Another big reason I stopped updating was I was banned from Twitter because some Red Ruski hacked into my account and put spam on my page in my name, and apparently some (expletive deleted) thought it actually was me. So that was immensely discouraging.

Plus, one of my best tools, or my only tool, for creating all those brilliant game ideas I have stopped working, and as of now it still does not work. I'm talking of this once sterling odds and payout calculator devised by Walt Baranger. Once that stopped working, I've had no way of devising new games and making them realistic.

Plus, being a college student, now on his own and on a budget, I really had to cut back on my actual lottery play. And it's really hard to get into the lottery when you can't actually play it with any regularity.

And the worst part about all of this is? I skipped updating right when the biggest lottery development in decades was taking place, the cross-selling agreement between Powerball and Mega Millions. Now every U.S. lottery, except for Florida, California, and Louisiana, sells both of the big multi-state games. And I completely missed covering all of that.

So what does this all mean. Well, this could function as a long-awaited goodbye post (in which case, see you, wouldn't wanna be you). Or, it could be the first of many posts as I make a triumphant comeback. It all depends on what kind of mood I'm in. So check back often, just in case the latter happens.
