New Jersey makes history.
A quick update, not much going on. But the New Jersey lottery is introducing a new $10 scratch-off called $100,000,000 Spectacular. It will have 75% payout, which I believe is the highest payout percentage in the state's history, and is higher than anything neighboring PA or NY offers. So give this game a try if you have a ten burning a hole.

Hopefully top-prize winners in this upcoming game (debuting 9/13) will either get a lump sum or can choose lump sum in lieu of an annuity. The neighboring NY Lottery is notorious for requiring all scratch game annuity winners to receive periodic payments, rather than allowing them to choose cash. Nobody in Albany seems to care about the rights of these "winners".

ReplyDeleteThe New Jersey lottery also launched their Eagles scratch-off where you need to match the 'winning scores' with 'your scores'. All scores are hidden and need to be scratched for a chance of an instant win of $100,000.
